“I get bullied a lot …”
Words from a 13 year old and from people around the globe making a difference. Love what one of the judges says to young Andrew:
“……the thing about school bullies, they don’t like you for one reason. You’ve got more talent than they could ever dream of having. Ever!”
Good words for me this week. I gotta remember to stand up and sing.
Do you ever get labeled?
A wise youth makes hay while the sun shines, but what a shame to see a lad who sleeps away his hour of opportunity. (Prov 10:5)

I showing this to my 12 year old. But only after I dry up the tears from my own face
Now that I think about it, I needed this lesson too.
You are doing amazing work James!
WoW! You are so right about the people who make a difference being bullied by the ones who are afraid to change.
Made me think of my childhood as I wiped the tears from my eyes…why couldn’t I see what the bullies saw in me then, ’cause I can sure see it now…thanks for the reminder!
Amazing & true. As children, we constantly strive for acceptance, love and respect from those around us. In fact we are all to ready to conform to the rest of the world. Sometimes it is easier to hide our talents, for fear of being judged by others. Trust me, it took me nearly 30yrs before I really felt comfortable in my own skin. As adults, we may forget that the world operates on its own agenda. But we can shield ourselves from this, by surrounding ourselves with supportive and caring friends & loved ones. Food for thought…
Funny how this works. The environment that you live in tells you one thing – you get bullied by many forces. But get in the presence of The Judge…and hearing Him say “Take it from me…you’re good”…and wondering why we don’t get in front of Him more often.
Thanks for the reminder.
