With gas prices at record levels and all the uncertainty in the economy today – money is a big topic of conversation.
My church sat down with the devil and talked about how he uses money as a tool for his work. If you are very religious, you might get offended by this interview. Loosen up!
Man …..this reminder sucks, because I’ve got the new iPhone on the brain!
‘Get wisdom – it’s worth more than money; choose insight over income every time.’ (Prov 16:16)
This cracks me up! Til death do us part …..and beyond!
Until you grasp the essence of this swarm video – you may not find it relevant.
If you do get it – your mind will start running a million miles an hour on the possibilities of collaboration. Put in simple terms:
If we’d try to understand people, situations, places and things just a little bit better – we’ll communicate more clearly and may stumble upon genius … together.
When you connect with people that are passionate about the same thing – they infect you with their intense fire. Pieces of them stay with you as you continue your journey.
Sport, Worship, Technology, Places, Food, Love ….just name it.
In other words – this is how revolutions are birthed. Are you stuck or a revolution?
“Humanity does not pass through phases as a train passes through stations. Being alive, it has the privilege of always moving yet never leaving anything behind.
Whatever we have been, in some sort we are still.“
C.S.Lewis.
‘… beautiful! Together in life, together in death. Swifter than plummeting eagles, stronger than proud lions.’ (2 Sam 1:23)
Something deep inside me tells me I’ve done this a few times …. Sometimes, I think I know just a little bit too much.
‘The stuck-up fall flat on their faces, but down-to-earth people stand firm.‘ (Prov 11:2)
I’ve had this music playing in the background as I did some work today.
The music is beautiful. The story told in the video continues to remind me how important it is to …. see the opportunity of every moment.
That’s vision. It’s about recognizing when you can seize the moment. It’s less about predicting the future.
Sometimes we get suckered into passing on an opportunity cause we worry about what others will think. It happens to me. I stop being authentic in that moment.
Some people think I’m crazy. They’re right. I make a lot of mistakes and I’m okay with that. I also have many moments of incredible joy in my life.
I’m not interested in a sterile life or arriving safely at death.
“So watch your step. User your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times. Don’t live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants.“ Eph 5:15-17
Just in case anybody wants to work in healthcare and try to convince doctors that adopting technology can transform how they take care of patients.
